Brian S. Kane of Melbourne, Fla. (formerly of Warwick, N.Y., and Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.) passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, in Tampa, Fla. He was 61 years old.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1959, in Hackensack, N.J. He is survived by his mother, Louise Maher and stepfather, Frank Maher, of Mt. Arlington, N.J. He was the son of the late Harry Kane.
Brian is survived by his loving wife Maureen (nee Clark); daughter, Caitlin Babcock and her husband Matthew of Mountainville, N.Y.; sons Stephen Kane of Melbourne, Fla., and Matthew Kane of Rancho Cucamonga, California; brothers Thomas Kane and his wife Marian of Cornwall-on-Hudson and Paul Kane and his wife Theresa of Andover, N.J. He was predeceased by his sister, Doreen Kane.
Brian was a dedicated family man; his sense of humor, love and strength will be greatly missed by all.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, with interment following in Warwick Cemetery.
