CHESTER — The bright blue sky overhead complemented the men and women in blue who showed the community the wide range of personnel and equipment that stand ready to protect them.
Emergency Services Day, held last Saturday, is certain to return next year, says Town of Chester Police Chief Dan Doellinger, whose department presented the round-up of demonstrations, talks, and safety checks, fortified by hot dogs and ice cream.
The department estimates that "we had at least 300-400 attendees," Doellinger said on Facebook.
