Walter Ralph Coville Sr. of Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Goshen, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, with his beloved wife, Barbara, and sons around him at Hospice House in Brooksville. He was 81.
Son of the late Robert Coville and Lucy Cutter Coville, he was born June 23, 1937, in Goshen.
Walter served in the U.S. Navy. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Barbara, of 59 years, and father to his sons, Walter Jr. and Keith.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Walter (Deb) of Tallahassee, Fla., and Keith (Maria) of Oviedo, Fla.; grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyle, Alexander, Aaron, Holley, Daryl, Maximillian, and Melanie; great-grandson, Ares; brother, Kenny (Jean); sister, Pat Moshier (Charlie); brother-in-law, Raymond (Cindy) Judway; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Charlie and Bobby; brother-in-law, James (Bud) Judway; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Coville.
After cremation, services will be held Friday, Feb. 1, at Bushnel Veterans Cemetery in Florida. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, at his and Barbara’s home.
