Bunny visits and egg hunts planned around area

    GoshenThe First Presbyterian Church, 33 Park Place, Goshen, will be holding its Bunny Breakfast from 8:30 to 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 6.
    Tickets are $8. In addition to a hearty breakfast, each child will receive crafts, activities for children of all ages, and a ticket for one egg hunt (choose from 10 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. egg hunts).
    The Easter Bunny will be on hand to greet everyone and will pose for pictures. Bring your own camera and your own basket.

    ChesterThe Town of Chester PBA is hosting its 18th annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, at Chester Commons Park, 81 Laroe Road (1/4 from Kings Highway, behind the town police department and senior/rec center).
    The hunt is free and open to all children. Bring you own baskets or bags.
    Many local businesses have donated to make the egg hunt possible. For more information call 469-7000 ext. 363.
    MiddletownThe Easter Bunny plans a nearly month-long stay at The Galleria at Crystal Run, 1 Galleria Drive, Middletown, arriving at the JCPenney Court on Saturday, March 30, and wsticking around in until Saturday, April 20. The Bunny will be putting in some long hours, so remember that occasional carrot breaks are needed. Here's when the Bunny will be available for photos, which run from $35 to $50, depending on the package: Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 692-5757.
    Campbell HallThe Orange County Spring Egg Hunt will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Thomas Bull Memorial Park, located at Route 416 in Campbell Hall.
    Children ages seven and younger are welcome to attend the free event sponsored by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation in conjunction with ShopRite.
    The Easter Bunny will arrive with a motorcycle parade led by the Orange County Harley Owners Group. The hunt area will be divided into separate sections to accommodate different age groups, including a wheelchair-accessible section for children with disabilities. Chocolate prizes will be awarded for special gold eggs found, and each child will receive a bag of candy courtesy of long-time event sponsor, ShopRite.
    A special prize will be given to children dressed up to look like the Easter Bunny. Other attractions include a bounce house, ice cream truck, children’s playground and guest appearance by Macaroni the Clown. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will also be on-site to conduct their free children’s ID program, Operation Safe Child.
    Volunteer assistance is provided by Boy Scout Troop #386 and Boy Scout Troop #205.
    Because of the event’s popularity, families are encouraged to arrive early. If weather is inclement, call the Parks Department at 457-4949 for an update.
